Intraoral Camera

This pen-sized device enables both our team and our patients to get a much better look at their smiles. It fits easily in the mouth, and it can capture high-definition images of the teeth and gums that we can display on a large monitor right in the treatment room. These make it much easier for our team to spot potential problem areas, point them out to patients, and discuss the benefits of treatment. With it, we can make sure a patient completely understands what their dentist is talking about at all times.

Digital Dental X-Rays

Many oral health problems have early signs that can’t be seen with the naked eye, but X-rays enable us to catch and treat issues as soon as they pop up. Thankfully, digital X-rays have brought this diagnostic tool into the 21st century and have a number of unique benefits compared to traditional film radiography. They create much sharper images by comparison, and they also take less time to do so. Better yet, the process also emits about 90% less radiation, helping many patients breathe a sigh of relief.

CT/Cone Beam Scanner

When we need more information about a patient’s dental anatomy than what a traditional X-ray can tell us (such as when performing dental implant placement), that is when we like to use our CT/cone beam scanner. With it, we can map out a patient’s teeth, jaws, and surrounding oral structures in exhaustive detail by creating a 3D X-ray model. We actually have a mobile version of this device, so we can capture this image either in our dental office or wherever a patient likes to make their care more convenient.

Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry

Lasers aren’t just science-fiction anymore! Our soft tissue laser is a small, handheld device that emits an extremely concentrated beam of light we can use to target and eliminate harmful bacteria located deep below the gum line. Laser therapy is much less invasive compared to traditional gum treatment, enabling us to help a patient while keeping them more comfortable. In fact, most don’t even need local anesthesia during a laser procedure because it is so painless!
